Although many women do not support polygamous marriages, a new video of a middle-aged woman engaging in discussions about polygamy has sparked debates on social media.
In the viral clip, a Nigerian woman known as Tinuke Vibes on Instagram stated that her husband cannot marry her alone.
Sending a message to her prospective husband, the woman claimed that if he couldn't marry four wives, he could never marry her.
According to her, she is a caring person, meaning her husband cannot marry just one wife. She added that she doesn't mind being the second, third, or fourth wife.
Supporting her argument, she mentioned that her husband cannot be exclusive to her because the number of women is more than men in society.
She stressed that she cannot be selfish to the extent of not sharing her man with other women.
Advising modern women, Atinuke urged them to change their mindset to ensure peace in marriage, encouraging them always to allow their men to marry other wives.
She concluded by saying that women should follow her example and marry a wealthy and capable man.
