Forget whoever lied to you that Rhumba is for old people and wababa, this genre is a sensual and romantic music style with Afrocentric vibes and your outfit choice needs to reflect this. Plus have you seen how effortlessly good Koffi looks? You need to match his vibe.

For the ladies, ditch the pants and let your feminine energy shine. I'm talking body hugging maxi or midi dresses or a fringe dress.

This is to highlight your hips and legs.

Have you seen the cottage core aesthetics? That is what you ought to be rocking. Another cute and theme centered option is a flowing skirt paid with any wide range of cute tops such as a bandeu or tube top, a crop top, off shoulder, the options are limitless!

Body hugging skirts with high slits and shorts paired with patterned kimonos are also a great choice.

If you must do pants then let them be pallazo pants, jeans ain't it babes! For shoes, this entirely depends with the fit you land on. A great choice however is white converse, kitten heels or boots. Don't be scared of rocking heels lovelies, Radio Africa events are top notch and sitting space is guaranteed. If you have never attended one this is your chance to come experience class and value for your money.

And now for our gents, first things first ditch the sweatpants! Those are for errand runs and Fifa with the boys doesn't matter if they are designer or not.

I'm going to need you looking sharp, who knows you might land your benefactor there.

Colour combination is your best friend here... keep in neutral. White, baby pink/ blue, black and earthy tones are it! However this doesn't mean you can't play with patterns, let you 'Africanicity' shine

This is the time to get your tux pants out of the wardrobe where they have been gathering dust. Pair them with above shirts leaving the first three buttons open and accessorize with silver or pearls. Khaki pants are also a great choice.

Shorts are also a vibe and in theme for this event! But in everything you do, don't pair them with sneakers (unless if they are white converse) I know you have a nice pair of loafers please let them shine. Like have you seen Eli Mwendwa's dressing? Channel that!

Sean Andrew's 'I'm from a British boarding school/ my dad owns a yacht' look also works perfectly. Collar shirts with light sweaters whether worn or wrapped around the neck are such a magnet!

PS; remember to accessorize accordingly and smell good, if bad bad go to Dubois and get a dupe no one will judge you for that but you will not only be judged for bad odor you'll also throw people off you.

Now, ladies and gentlemen you are ready! Get planning/shopping because we will be snapping, event come.

With that said, come ready to have mad fun, whine your waists and be entertained to the max! See you guys on the 9th of December.
