A guy who is tired of being humiliated online by his friends for not having a beard has had to take action to stop the humiliation by having beard surgery.

Except for a small mustache, the man had no hair below his chin, which probably caused him to lack peace of mind.

The video was posted on the X network, formerly known as Twitter by a user with the name, @the_Lawrenz. He shared a video on the platform that showed when the man underwent surgery and his new look. After the surgery, it appeared that he had a full beard.

The man was smiling while showing his transformation. But what procedure is followed to achieve successful beard transplant surgery?

According to Healthline, Beard Transplantation is just that: Hair is taken from one part of the body and transplanted to your chin and wherever you want your beard to grow.

The doctor will first need to evaluate your skin and hair to make sure you are a good candidate, and then you will need to decide if it is worth the cost.

As with any medical procedure, there is no 100 percent guarantee that you will be happy with the results. Beard transplant scars are always dangerous.

But if you can find a qualified provider, it might be worth at least exploring whether a few hours in the doctor's office can produce a beard that lasts a lifetime.

The procedure takes 2,000 to 5,000 or more hair follicle grafts from the back of the head, usually at or below your ears, and places them on the face. A graft is a hair follicle that is implanted.
