The media fraternity is still mourning Sports Journalist Sean Cardovillis. He was a man loved by many thanks to his friendly nature.

  • Lost his mum in 2015.
  • His only sister died in Maritza died in 1998

  • He lived alone at the time of his death

  • Worked at Paradise FM in Seychelles
  • Won the 2007 BBC Africa Radio Award for sports
  • In 2007 he won the CNN/Multichoice African Journalist of the Year Awards
  • Left NTV in 2020
  • Returned to Capital FM in June 2023 after 18 years
  • Was scheduled to interview Kipyegon, a multiple Olympic and world winner before his death
  • Passed away at his house along Rhapta Road in Westlands, Nairobi.
