On Saturday, August 5, a woman barged into a church wedding in Molo, Nakuru County, causing havoc by claiming to be the groom's first wife.

The woman, who went by the name RO, felt deceived by the groom's action and inquired as to why he had married their domestic assistant without her permission.

She continued by expressing her disdain at the groom's choice to divorce her after 22 years of marriage.

She was upset at the start of the incident and shocked that she had been unaware of her husband and the domestic helper's relationship.

"We have been together for 22 years. She came to look for a job, and I invited her to my home to be my domestic helper. As a good Samaritan, I donated Ksh1,000 to buy her clothes," the angry RO told reporters.

"I would leave her to do chores as I went to work. This time round, my husband has alienated his duties, but I know God is going to take care of them. All I want is for my children to be taken care of,"  she added.

Kenyans.co.ke claims that the commotion broke out after the bride and groom arrived at the site, a short while after they had walked down the aisle.

She and the shocked groom got into a heated dispute as a result of the argument. A few minutes later, Nakuru police officers showed up to get the situation back under control and stop the argumentative wife from interfering with the proceedings.

The first wife was furious when the groom and bride decided to still get married.
