The rights of the LGBTQ community to form an NGO have been recognized by the Supreme Court and most netizens are not happy with the verdict.

A couple of popular personalities such as Moses Wetangula, Daddy Owen, The Nairobi CITAM church bishop, Bishop Muheria and Mohammed Ali have shared their stand on not being too pleased with the ruling of the court.

#SayNoToLGBTQinKENYA has been trending for the past few days with netizens opposing the courts verdict stating that it might lead to unintended consequences.

"There is no way we are going to allow LGBTQ+ to be registered as NGO or do their thing here. Those who support them should accommodate them in their own countries. Supreme Court you are very wrong on this one," Mohammed Ali shared.

Many netizens are vexed the main reason being that they see the ruling as something that will interfere with the peoples culture, norms and the morality of children.

"Making homosexuality your top priority when thousands of people in your country are jobless, dying, being killed by the famine is crazy behavior," a social media user Nita posted.
