Governor Kananu stuns at first social event since her swearing-in (Photos)

• Mawimbi Seafood Restaurant celebrated their Birthday and after winning the World Best Luxury Restaurant as top Seafood Restaurant at the 6th Annual World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2021 held in Mauritius on 8th of Oct 2021.

New Nairobi governor Anne Kananu led celebrations at Mawimbi Seafood Restaurant & Cafe last night as the establishment celebrated its birthday.

This comes hot on the heels of winning the World Best Luxury Restaurant as top Seafood Restaurant at the 6th Annual World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2021 held in Mauritius on 8th of Oct 2021.

The World Luxury Restaurant Awards is a recognized global organization where the public including international travelers votes across a diverse variety of award categories.

Speaking during the all-white party, Governor Kananu promised to work closely with Nairobians.

"Mawimbi is in our city and I am proud of your win. I want to wish you all the best and assure to work closely with you. My office is an open place to come."

Other politicians who attended the event included; Murang'a women rep Sabina Chege and Racheal Shebesh among others.

Celebrities included; Journalists Lilian Muli, Terryanne Chebet, entrepreneur Naomi Ng'ang'a, Mitchelle Ntalami among others.
