Sarah Cohen's name missing in late husband Tob Cohen's tribute

Tob Cohen's family wrote a tribute to the late Jewish businessman in the obituary section of today's Daily Nation.

One interesting tidbit was that Sarah Wairimu Cohen, the wife of the late Cohen, was missing from the tribute.

That shouldn't come as a shock to most observers as Sarah was arrested shortly after his body was found as a suspect in his murder.

The tribute from the late Cohen's family read,

"Dear Tob, today marks the second year anniversary of your departure from this world...Your spirit and legacy continue to shine on.

"Affectionately remembered by your sister Gabriele Cohen, her husband Roy van Straten, nephew Seth and family, your friends, and all the lives you touched all over the globe. You are solely missed and loved beyond measure," read an excerpt from the obituary.

Tob had expressed fears for his life in a letter to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji just eight days before he went missing.

After he went missing for two months  he was said to have flown to Bangkok  his body was found on September 13, 2019. It was in an underground water tank at his home along Farasi Lane in Loresho.

Wairimu, who had a rocky marriage with the Dutch businessman, is accused of masterminding his disappearance and murder.

She denied the murder charges.
