Former KTN sports anchor Robert Soi will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in Kabartegan Village, Chemosot Sub-County, Kericho County.

Soi breathed his last on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at The Nairobi Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Soi and brothers to Anthony, Caroline (USA), Brenda, Job, Howard, Charles, David, John, Peter and Geoffrey. 

He was the son of the late Senator James Soi, Winsome and Susan Soi of Kabartegan Village Kericho. Son-in-law to the late retired Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Wambua and Esther Wambua.

The family and friends are meeting daily at Sagret Milimani Hotel between 4 pm and 7 pm. A fundraising was held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, both at Sagret and Kabartegan home.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his home in Oloosirkon, Tuala, Kajiado East from 10 am to 12.00 noon.

He was a former news editor at CGTN and former sports anchor at KTN.

May he rest in peace.
