Nigerian Singer Simi's released a birthday song for her baby Adejare as she marked her first birthday.

Taking to Instagram, Simi gushed over her 1-year-old princess saying that the income generated from the song will go into her account.

"The Happy Birthday song is our favourite gift to Deja today. Every kobo, cent, penny we make from the Streams of this song will go into her account. For her future. So I hope you stream and stream and stream as a gift to her too. Thank you," Wrote Simi.

Adejare is Simi's fist born baby, and she was the reason behind her hit song, Duduke.

In Yoruba, Duduke is the sound that the heart makes while beating, and this is how Simi's first pregnancy made her feel.

An year down the line, the songstress can not hide the joy that her daughter brought to her.

"Blessed fruit of my womb. Drinker of my milk. Climber of my body. Sleep stopper. Scatterer of my things. Best dancer. Blessing bringer. Lil Miss I-have-a-mind-of-my-own. I love you so much Adejare," the mother of one expressed.

She added;

"You're the best thing in all my life. You make me so proud of myself. I would do anything for you. Everything. For you. You will never doubt that no one in the world could possibly love you like I do. Sometimes I will do too much, but it will be because I love you too much.
