The death of Lady Maureen caught many off guard. This is because many had hoped she would recover and continue treating us to some good tunes.

But that will never be, as she is now gone to be with the lord.

For a lady of her prominence, it's such a shame that she died miserably. Below are some of the lessons people should learn from her death.

  1. Always invest in yourself

Love and pamper yourself while you can because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Go for trips, take photos and most importantly take care of your health.

2. Invest in family

We all saw how Lady Maureen suffered due to her ailment, but the icing of the cake is that in her final months it's family that took care of her.

It's family that she was comfortable as possible, so as you buy people beer and nyama choma remember to send your family something.

3. A prophet is never celebrated at home

One thing to learn form Lady Maureen's death is one is best celebrated dead, when she was rotting in prison in Tanzania most people did not bother.

Only a few people cared, the government was unmoved despite the fact that she was putting Kenyan music out there for other people to enjoy.

4. In the end you will be alone

Before her ailment, Lady Maureen loved life and people loved her back, because she had something to offer (money, free trips, free tickets)

But on her death bed she was alone, broken and in pain.

Let her death not be in vain, It's time the Kenyan government learnt how to celebrate it's heroes.
