Jesse Mugambi, a Kenyan DJ and student currently enrolled at the University of Brighton in England, has been trending over the news that he won a prize of Ksh7.6 million (€50,000) after participating in a global competition.

Mugambi outshone 300 contestants hailing from 50 different nations in a competition titled Save the Night, the results of which were disclosed in March.

His winning entry proposed an innovative concept: a nightclub that undergoes a metamorphosis into a music studio during daylight hours.
