Imenti Central MP Gideon Mwiti is a troubled man. The legislator who was accused of raping a journalist in his office is now asking the victim's husband to settle the issue out of court.

The husband says that the MP has been trying to reach him and sending several messages to asking him to talk to his wife not to take the matter to court.

" He called me on Sunday and I told him we could not talk. Since then he has sent a number of emissaries asking that we talk to end this saga. I want you to tell him to leave us alone" - He told the Star
