Real Househelps of Kawangware actor Nyambegea, whose real name is Christantus Nyachio has revealed that he was depressed and even contemplated suicide.

'I was actually depressed in front of people who I thought were close to me and what they kept telling me was ninawaomokea' instead of asking Don niaje siku hizi unabehave hivi...' he wrote in part.

'I was actually contemplating suicide at some point, nikasema siezi kufa njaa. Nikakua, nikashiba nikasahau hiyo story.'

The actor noted that depression is real, advising those depressed to seek help.

'If you have been there and you know how it feels to curl yourself in the couch for days and not move, not talk to anyone, not feel any urge to do anything, just know you're not alone. Don't keep quiet, speak up.'

He went ahead to thank those who were there for him.
