'I was a party animal' Size 8 shares her past before meeting DJ Mo

Linet Munyali aka Size 8's story from grass to grace is not new. The mother of two has always shared her story, inspiring many.

The former secular now gospel singer got a scholarship to Hillcrest after completing her form four at Statehouse Girls High School.

Recently, she shared her story once again on Churchill Show journey and revealed that she almost lost her scholarship due to partying. She was popular and knew several party joints in the city.

'I almost lost my scholarship as my grades started going down. Nilikuwa naparty every time and we would rave every time along Nairobi-Mombasa highway when going to Mombasa. We had a driver and our work was just to party. By the time I was leaving Hillcrest, I was a bad girl and left my innocence at the school. Yani niliacha Yesu shule,' she explained.

'I was to attend Manchester University but we did not have money for my fees and my father told me my brothers were also in school.'

After testing the secular world, Size 8 gave her life to Christ back in 2013 and since then, she has never looked back. She's among the gospel artistes whose songs rule the airwaves.
