MC Jessy had an interview with Jalang’o where he spoke about his tough life before the fame.

This interview came just before Jalas graduated he appreciated MC Jessy for pushing him through thee 4 years.

Before the pandemic, Jessy had various plans on how to grow his brand and the comedy industry.

"Tulikuwa tumepaga a Europe tour of comedy because I do a lot of international tours mostly the UK, Middle East and Europe.’

That did not happen, however, this brought about the rise of his channel Jessy Junction which according to him has been in the oven from 2018 when they first shot the pilot.

Jessy spoke about his life.

"I lost my parents both of them when I was 11. I had people to take care of me and when I completed high school I came to Nairobi."

Since he had nowhere to stay, he slept at the station. This went on for around 2-3 months where he met an old friend whose father was an MP.

"I found a classmate nikarealize budake ni MP na wanaishi Kileleshwa, nikafuata huyo boyz na nikaenda kwao nikakatalia kwao. Nikakuwa houseboy Kileleshwa na nikafanya job hapo sana sana nilikuwa napiga nguo pasi…’

During this time he went to Winner’s Chapel and one of their senior pastors gave him the idea and an opportunity to perform for the church each time he was preaching.

He tried auditioning for Churchill many times and finally found his breakthrough later on like after a year later

He advises people to trust the process and not be in a hurry to make it.
