Meru Senator Mithika Linturi and his estranged wife Maryanne Kitany are back in court to testify against each other in their divorce case.

According to Kaitany, she decided to move in with the Senator back in the day because he had so many rent arrears.

She would pay the arrears for him.

Speaking before the magistrate Kaitany stated that at some point she gave Linturi Sh 200,000 to cover his rent.

On a different occasion, she paid a whopping 11 million so that the whole family would travel to Australia and bond with her son.

Linturi didn't chip in a dime for the entire trip.

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi's estranged wife Maryanne Kitany on Tuesday testified that they fell in love as she tried to stop him from impeaching a Cabinet Secretary.

Giving testimony in their divorce case at Milimani Court in their divorce case, Kitany claimed her relationship with Linturi started back in 2014.

She said Linturi had brought a motion in parliament to impeach then Devolution CS Anne Waiguru but he needed to be stopped from tabling it.

The case is still ongoing and we cannot wait to see how this drama unfolds.
