Moses Kuria Makes Headlines After Asking Gatundu Youth To Chop Those Opposed To NYS With Pangas (VIDEO)

He was today grilled for hours before recording a statement at CID headquarters over the inciting statements he is alleged to have made that surfaced in the media two days ago.

Kuria was summoned by the police  following complaints about the remarks he made in his constituency that amounted to incitement according to he complainants.He walked out of the grilling room after three hours and accused the media of being biased on the issue.

He insisted he had no regrets over the remarks he made, but he had apologized to those who misunderstood him.

CID director Ndegwa Muhoro said they would review the clip and attach it as evidence before forwarding the file to the Director of Public Prosecution office for action.

NCIC had petitioned the DPP and police to launch investigations into Kuria after the clip with the remarks emerged. DPP Keriako Tobiko moved to court under a certificate of urgency yesterday to seek the cancellation of bail given to Kuria in a previous case of incitement.

Kuria faces criminal prosecution for if it is proven that his utterances in the said video clip are found to be encouraging youth to attack people who oppose National Youth Service projects with machetes.
