Joe Mwangi, former manager of Wendy Waeni has taken to Twitter to defend himself.

Mwangi, who was exposed for not helping Wendy and her mother, claims that this happened after he took the 14-year-old's phone.

All this story does not have to do with money. In April I was with Wendy in Mombasa and you cannot imagine what she had been doing with her phone. That's why I took it.

He has dared Jeff Koinange to invite him for an interview so as to state his facts about the whole story.

Addressing Chris Kirwa, he said,

You know the role you have played in this, for the last 4 days we have been working overnight to try set up a meeting between mama wendy, myself and a neutral party, but you have been against this since u don't want peace for your selfish gains.

Wendy had earlier stated that her mother never received a single penny from Mwangi, claims which he later refuted.

I HAVE PERFORMED ALL OVER THE WORLD BUT I’VE NEVER GOTTEN A PENNY FROM IT AND THAT IS BECAUSE OF MY PREVIOUS MANAGER (JOE MWANGI). I LIVE N A SINGLE ROOM IN HURUMA WITH MY MOTHER.

In the screenshots he shared on his Twitter account, Joe Mwangi said that he's the one who pays Wendy's school fees apart from interior CS Fred Matiang'i.
