Police and county government officials are investigating the origin of five donkeys that have been found chained on a metal grill along Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi.

The donkeys had been painted black and white colour to depict them as zebras and had writings on them showing there is corruption in the government. They also had writings dismissing the president’s action on corruption. Officials say they do not know the origin of the animals.

They had been chained on the grill and attracted the attention of many. They were later unchained and driven away by the council official.
