Paperless banking! This has been a dream for many Kenyans who simply don't want to spend time in the bank or even go to the bank in the first place. We hate queues! We detest adding stress to our already stressful lives. There's traffic on our roads and there's never enough parking. People are jostling for out attention and when we want customer service, we get the worst and never expect anything good. This is why the new trend from CBA is quickly changing how Kenyans are going to live.

It's picking up very quickly picking up and that's simply because they're giving people more than just the usual. Now that's a real encouragement. A breathe of fresh air!

You visit the store (yes, it's called a store) once only and unless you've developed a crush on the ever-smilling attendants, you'll only be back when very necessary. That's because you have the privilege of doing EVERYTHING on your first single visit. Yes, everything.

The colors are welcoming. A nice orange coupled with a neat pastel green, a shade of brown and a hint of teal-blue. All these with white fittings and fantastic graphics arranged so well that the music playing in the background leaves you with a feel-good sensation whenever you step in to the store.

This is the magic of LOOP. Not only will you experience this wonderful store whenever you visit them at their various locations but also you enjoy the service that hundreds are signing up to. It's a no-brainer.

The stores are consistent in look and feel. In Nairobi, they are located at International Life House on Mama Ngina Street, 1st Floor of Sarit Centre in Westlands, 1st Floor of Yaya Centre in Kilimani, 2nd Floor of Garden City Mall in Thika Road, 1st Floor of The Point Mall in Buru Buru Phase 4, Ground Floor of Maasai Mall in Ongata Rongai

In Mombasa, you can find the LOOP store on CBA Building in Moi Avenue Street and at the Ground Floor of Nyali Center on Links Road. You can also find the store on the Lower Ground Floor of Oginga Odinga Street in Kisumu or along Mbolu Malu Road in the Machakos Central Business District or in Eldoret at the Ground Floor of Zion Mall on Uganda Road or at the CBA Centre on Kenyatta Avenue Street in Nakuru.

All these branches operate on Monday to Friday from 9.00AM to 7.00PM and on Saturday from 9.00AM to 4.00pm

The visit to Garden City

Walking in with a skeptical friend, we bypassed some wide booths that were laden with some biometric technology with the thought that these must be for customers to chill and have a little bit of fun as they experience the loop. We headed straight to the counter and were met with the manager of the LOOP store at Garden city, Mr Dennis Kibebe.

"How are you chief? Hapa watu wanasaidika aje", I blurted out, feigning typical Kenyan ignorance while trying to avoid eye contact.
