Rest in peace! Kamp CEO passes while receiving treatment in hospital

The entertainment industry is mourning the sudden death of Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) CEO Clifford Wefwafwa.

According to a statement, Wefwafwa was taken ill and passed on yesterday night.

"It's with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Mr Clifford Wefwafwa - CEO Kamp. He was unwell and in hospital. Let's keep his family and friends in our prayers."

Wefwafwa joined KAMP in September 2014 having gained wide experience in management and extensively exposed to business development.

He has been instrumental in developing an organizational strategy to deliver right holder Mandate and Implementing policies within KAMP to align to the best practices in management for more informed decision making culture that subscribe to Transparency and good Governance practices within KAMP.

He previously held other senior positions in other top organizations within Kenya before joining KAMP.

He worked at Nzoia Sugar Company as Head of Sales and Marketing for about 5years and before then he had held various positions at British American Tobacco Company over 12years In Sales rising from a Territory Representative, Channel Executive to An Area Sales Manager.
