Once upon a time power couple, Wema Sepetu and Diamond Platnumz were inseparable.

Despite the two having parted ways a few years ago, they're still best friends and Wema is still supportive of Diamond.

A day ago during the launch of a new programme for Wasafi TV in Tanzania, Wema Sepetu was among the guests who graced the event and she was in high spirits.

The former beauty queen who's currently concentrating on acting and her lipstick business took photos with Diamond Platnumz and went ahead to post them on Instagram and tagged the singer.

This left many wondering whether they were back together, but they're just friends. In a previous interview Wema said:

"WE HAVE NEVER HAD BEEF. WHEN OUR RELATIONSHIP ENDED, PEOPLE CREATED STORIES THAT WE HATED EACH OTHER BUT WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON GOOD TERMS. WE HAVE MOVED ON AND WE ARE HAPPY. I RESPECT HIS LIFE AND HE DOES THE SAME, WHICH IS A GOOD THING. WE HAVE MATURED, PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS TALK, BUT WE ARE JUST FRIENDS."

Tanzanian crooner too revealed that there’s no bad blood between them and are still friends who support each other.

"WEMA SEPETU AND I COMMUNICATE A LOT ON PHONE. WE ALSO MEET UP TIME AND AGAIN, BUT AWAY FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE MEDIA OR PEOPLE’S KNOWLEDGE. WE HAVE REALLY MATURED. EACH OF US IS CONCENTRATING ON HIS OR HER RELATIONSHIP. SHE HAS HER OWN FAMILY. BUT THE NATURE OF OUR RELATIONSHIP IS PURELY HINGED ON ELEVATING EACH OTHER’S BUSINESS. THAT EXPLAINS WHY WEMA HELPED ME COME UP WITH THE CATCHPHRASE ‘THE SCENT YOU DESERVE FOR MY FRAGRANCE LINE."

On the other hand, Diamond Platnumz' mother and his baby mama Hamisa Mobetto do not eye-to-eye.

Recently, the Tanzanian crooner's mother beat the socialite like a burukenge and she has vowed to teach her a lesson whenever she steps at her home.

Diamond Platnumz mother further revealed that Hamisa insulted her during an interview with a local media house and she was hurt. She claimed she was trolled on social media and she wasn't happy.

"Kwanza sio wife material. Hajui kutandika kitanda hata kufanya usafi ni mwanamke tu ambaye ni shida."

Simpendi hamisa na sitaki akanyage nyumbani kwangu. Lakini kama Diamond ataendelea na hamisa huko nje sio Madale.

Diamond Platnumz' mother is still in good terms with Zari and when asked about her relationship with her daughter-in-law she said;

"Zari namheshimu. Ni mwanamke ambaye ndiye wa kwanza kabisa kumfanya mwanagu aitwe baba. Nitaendelea kumheshimu na kumpa heshimu kwa kile anaschostahili.

Simkatazi Diamond Platnumz kuoa lakini sio Hamisa. Nataka mwanamke ambaye anajiheshimu, mwenye heshia na anayejua kupika lakini sio Mobetto."
