Finally! Missing Former Harambee Stars Player Osborne Monday Found

Yesterday, news went viral that Tusker FC midfielder Osborne Monday was missing and this raised questions among Kenyan football fans. According to the mother, Osborne Monday was taken away by people who claimed to be policemen and instructed her to go and look for him at a police station near Kenyatta the following morning, but when she went, she did not find her son and his phone was off.

According to sources, Osborne Monday has been found at Nairobi Area police station and was later transferred to ATPU. Osborne was found after Kenyan football fans took to social media to rally the nation help them find the player under the hashtag #FindOsborneMonday.

FKF president Sam Nyamweya rushed to ATPU offices on learning he was there and announced efforts to release him were ongoing.

He indicated that they would pay cash bail to have Monday freed. Officials said his mobile phone had been used to communicate with terrorists.

Osborne is safe and in good health despite nursing his knee after surgery.
