• Mary Njoki requests financial aid from Mike Sonko as she heads to Court of Thursday

• The girl who drew Sonko's face opens up about the reason she is looking for Mike Sonko and why he needs to help her win a court case.

Mary Njoki, the Kenyan lady who drew Mike Sonko’s tattoo is begging the Ex-governor for help as she heads to court.

In an exclusive interview with Mpasho journalist Kalondu Musyimi, Mary Njoki who got Sonko's tattoo on her thighs revealed why she drew him and explained the reasons she is looking for the former county boss.

Mary Njoki is a mother of two and a hustler who sells groceries and fruits at a local market in Muranga.

She told Kalondu the reason she drew Mike Sonko was a way to appreciate him for helping people and to surprise him.

The grocery seller added that she drew the former governor out of love for what he does and not because of the crush allegations.

Mary Njoki said that Mike Sonko didn't reach out to her but she heard that Mike Sonko was looking for her.

" Ilinicost 5k kuchora, niliskia akiongea aliomba number yangu na akapewa number yangu."

The mother of two added that she wishes for Mike Sonko to come and help her because she has a court case, the father of her children took her last-born daughter and refused to give her back.

"Nataka anisaidie, sijui kama hii kitu itaeza kumfikia, nataka anisaide before next week (This week) Thursday. Nilitaka anisaidie juu sina uwezo, my ex-husband alinipeleka kortini lakini alikuja akaninyanaganya mtoto wangu wa 2 years."

She alleged that the husband threatened to kill people if he wasn't given his daughter.

"Ikifika date 20 alikuja akasema anataka mtoto wake, na akasema kama hapewi mtoto wake ataua mtu, juu na mjua anaeza fanya anything anasema hatuku vurutana na yeye nilimuachia,".

Despite reporting the issue to her grandfather-in-law, efforts to have her child back were futile since the father of her children didn't pick up any calls and didn't try reasoning with anyone.

"Nilipigia guka take nikamwambia Alex amechukua mtoto, akijaribu kumpigia hashiki simu yake ilipofika mwezi wa saba nilimwambia guka naenda kumreport guka yake akakta akasema atajaribu kumpigia tena badae guka akaniambia alimblock."

The mother of two added that she wishes for Mike Sonko to help her with the lawyer's fee so that she can try and win the court case.

" Wakili nimeona ni twenty thousand na mimi sina hiyo pesa... naomba Sonko anaeza niskia pahali yoyote ako anisaidie nisi nyanganywe huyo mtoto juu ni msichana wa miaka mbili."

She later said the reason she thinks the husband took their daughter away was because she left him after he became toxic and threatened her.

"I think nijuu nilimuacha, sikueza kukaa nayeye juu alkikuwa ananaithreaten na alikuwa anasema siezi mpeleka popote juu familiar yangu haina pesa niliona siku moja ataniua nikatoka na watoto wangu..."
