Pastor Kanyari's ex-wife Betty Bayo is happily married.

The '11th Hour' hitmaker told Mpasho writer, Kalondu Musyimi that she wed her fiancee Hiram Gitau alias Tosh in a colourful traditional ceremony in 2021.

"It is official that we are married and he has done all the procedures required for me to be his wife. It is just that we are not too loud about our life online," she said.

The two got engaged back in November 2020, and she threw a lavish bash to celebrate her newfound love.

The popular artiste is featuring in the new gospel reality show dubbed 'Oh Sister'.

Speaking during the interview, Bayo said she agreed to be in the show to inspire people who comes from humble backgrounds.

"I want my real life to inspire someone who comes from a humble background.

Where I am is not where I will be in the next 10 years," she said.

Her husband is also in the show.

Bayo said Tosh, was away when the shooting started and returned to support her.

"He has not been in the country and only  came back because of the show," she said.

"He is very supportive and was very okay that I also wanted him to feature.

Betty said her husband doubted her English in the show.

"I told him to train me some vocabularies but the thing is, I have to be super natural and so I will use what I have. I just want to be myself. My tongue is heavy but I am keeping up with the sisters."

She said the best part in the shooting was when she welcomed the sisters in the show.

"I gave them theme color and they showed up with funny themes and they portrayed a bad impression in front of my husband," she said.

Bayo has also said they are planning for a vacation to interact with her husband as there are still many things they do not know about each other.

"Then there was a part of how much do you know your partner, I realized we need a vacation to know each other since there are so many things we don't know about each other," he said.

"So that we don't have to embarrass each other in front of people."

“Oh Sister!” is a reality show that goes behind the scenes and gives us an insider look into the lives of some of Kenya’s most beloved gospel stars. The good, the better, and the best.

"You can't be calm with the cast that I have. They will bring the hype part of you."
