In an interview with Mpasho.co.ke, during the premier of the new reality show 'Oh Sister', Milly WaJesus explained why she asked her followers to finance her brother's wedding.
The mother of two said that she is so big on people financing other people's weddings adding that she just shared the number innocently since she thought that it was just okay and others thought the same.
"For us, we are so big on marriage so you are going to see us suggest such things and then I came to realize that si kitu ya kila mtu and that's not how people take things, mimi nilikua tu share hiyo number innocently then kidogo kidogo, I'm asking people to finance my brother's wedding," the influencer explained.
She went ahead to disclose that her wedding with Kabi was fully financed by people saying that;
"I believe in people financing others' weddings and our wedding was fully financed by people and for me, it's not new."
This comes a week after the content creator appealed for financial help to assist in her brother's wedding.
Milly announced on her Instagram page that she would love her fans to help the couple meet the costs of their dream wedding adding that some of her friends had started contributing.
She penned;
"Here is the number where you can send your contributions towards Leonand & Diana white wedding that are coming up soon. Make sure you follow up with a msg saying it's for Leon's wedding for the WaJesus family."
Adding that, "Let's be a blessing to this young man and God will bless up while we are at it."
