Media personality Sheila Kwamboka aka Kwambox and Oga Obinna will officially take over The Morning Kiss on February 6, 2023.
Speaking to Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, the bubbly media personality said she will bring her all at the station.
Kwambox also spoke about how excited she was when she learnt that she will be joining Kiss FM.
"I am excited since I grew up watching this brand and the fact that I am here, I am super excited. I have seen so many brands grow on Kiss while growing up and that is big," she said adding that before the news went out, she had already signed the contract.
The Radio queen will be taking over from Kamene Goro who left the show a week ago.
Asked if she is a morning person, Kwambox said she functions very well in the early morning.
"I am very active and I function well in the morning. There are people who function well in the morning."
Asked what her fans should expect, Kwambox said she is taking the new show as a new responsibility to give her all energy.
"For me, I am looking at it like a new responsibility and I am also asking myself what I will do differently. I am also very ready to always show up and do the job and put my foot forward. My fans will tell me what is working or not," she said.
Kwambox also stated that she was even excited to be engaging with a bigger audience.
"I plan my life and I was in the process of preparing for my next season and it took me time to stay still. I will be able to speak to a bigger audience and do even dream bigger as Radio Africa is the best," she said.
On how she stays relevant, Kwambox said being in the entertainment space, she knows what she wants to deliver and what she is capable of.
