Nairobi governor Ann Kananu has responded to claims that she shows up to work drunk.

In an exclusive interview with the Star's Maureen Kinyanjui, Ann set the record straight.

"We are in a political season and I would love to say this, I'm a business woman and I own several clubs in Nairobi and other counties. I did not start this business today, there have been running for the last 4 years so those who see me, see me in one of my places."
