What aspect of being a church kid helped inspire his music journey?
I will say I was one of the chosen ones from that environment. My mom was a choir director, my dad played guitar while my uncles were instrumentalists so it sort of came easily to me. The gift sort of soaked into my spirit.
How was he growing his brand?
Since its inception music has always been a global affair. So the question is how do I place myself? It is at the end competition with the self. I want to be a better version of myself, something that will propel me
What does it feel like to have Kenyan fans.
I am glad that I have Kenyan fans, something that I am surprised about.
How has it been working with P-Square?
I first worked with Rudeboy... They are geniuses. Their work ethic is good and the experience really rubbed off on me.
What has been the highlight of his music journey so far?
They are many. But my performance at Congo with Rudeboy entertainment was really something for me.
Challenges he has faced?
Been underrated. The industry can frustrate upcoming artistes. I have also faced rejection.
