Sam West: 'Sharing' my wife with the public my biggest challenge

It's said that every marriage comes with its share of challenges.

For motivational speaker Sam West 'sharing' his wife Vivianne with the public has been his biggest challenge.

In an interview with Mpasho Sam says getting married to a well known personality has not been a smooth ride adding he would't do it any other way.

"The biggest challenge of being married to a celebrity is that sometimes you have to share your partner with the public.

There are places you can't visit as a normal couple. Sometimes you aren't able to be yourself in public due to critics."

On what has kept their marriage going all this time, Sam shared, "Good communication is the backbone of every relationship.

There is a big difference between falling in love and being in a relationship. Your partner will keep changing as you progress and you have to learn and embrace them every day. Sometimes you will not agree and you have to compromise on issues."

Adding, "When God is the center piece of your relationship it's easier."

Vivianne and Sam tied the knot in a colorful traditional wedding held in 2018.

Sam had proposed to Vivianne during a Live TV show breaking the hearts of team mafisi who thought they had a chance with the 'Chum Chum' hitmaker.
