Genge legend Jua Cali has shared how becoming a father changed his life.
In an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Jua Cali said fatherhood was a scary experience when his first born son was born.
"When my first son came, it was scary...because now there is a new person who has to be taken good care of. But it opened another meaning to life, I had more reasons to perform, release big hits because I had someone depending on me," he said.
The father of three says the experience turned out to be an enjoyable one and made him more responsible.
"It made me more responsible, in every move, I would make I knew it would affect my baby and wife. It has been fun...on Sundays I just play with my kids."
The 'Kwaheri' singer has managed to keep his children private. This, he says will be until they grow older and be able to make their own decisions.
"My parents never stopped me from pursuing my dreams, I think i will do the same. I must give my children a room to decide," he said.
Jua Cali said his kids do not have social media accounts currently, "Maybe when they get 13-14 years old. When they get to highschool they can."
