• "I have been pregnant before and I worked till the last day, Campaign is just like work."- Karen Nyamu
Aspiring Nairobi Senator Karen Nyamu has opened up her political ambitions come 2022. The mother of two says her competitors should watch this pace as she is not going to lose easily.
Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Karen said;
"Last time I vied for women Representative but I missed it narrowly but this time we are going to get it. I have been pregnant before and I worked till the last day, Campaign is just like work.
I do not need artistes to perform in my campaigns. He is the father of my kids and he is my friend. I consult him a lot as he understands people and he is very smart.
His party affiliation is not UDA, so unless that changes, but I do not think I will have any artistes performing."
Asked on what difference she will bring to Nairobi if elected as Senator, Nyamu shared;
"I will make sure Nairobians feel the impact of the services of the Nairobi government. So that we do not get short-changed.
Nairobi gets a large share of revenue and we collect a lot of money from the various revenue platforms but we do not feel the impact of that money."
