Radio Jambo's breakfast power duo Gidi and Ghost have on-air and off-air chemistry that is rare.

The on-air banter seems to be based on real-life interactions hence why it resonates with their audience.

Gidi Gidi who has been away on a trip abroad, returned to work recently and of course, he brought gifts for his co-host, Ghost Mulee.

"I want to take this moment and present my brother Ghost with this gift for the USA," Gidi said, "I was afraid he would start saying, 'Just imagine he went to America and no gift, not even a tooth pick!'"

He continued, "Anyway my brother, here is your gift, a top-notch shirt, this cost USD200. A very swanky and stylish shirt. Do the conversion, my brother."

An elated Ghost responded, "That is around Ksh 22,000."

Paisley shirts are known to be costly, check out some of the prices online.

The paisley pattern is an ornamental textile design using a teardrop-shaped motif with a curved upper end. Of Persian origin, paisley designs became popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries, following imports of post–Mughal Empire versions of the design from India, especially in the form of Kashmir shawls, and were then replicated locally.

The pattern is still commonly seen in Britain and other English-speaking countries on men's ties, waistcoats, and scarfs, and remains popular in other items of clothing and textiles in Iran and South and Central Asian countries.

That said, here is Ghost beaming with joy and he unleashes his trademark infectious laughter on receipt of the shirt.
