Sauti Sol's Chimano shares details of his upcoming album

Singer Chimano has revealed plans to release his album under the 'Alone Together' journey.

Speaking to Mpasho during the launch of Hustle, Chimano said his first single will drop on December 3rd. It will be followed by an EP in January.

The songs, he said, will embody who Chimano is.

"The theme is just happiness, freedom, dance. My EP is called Heavy as a Crown, my first single is called Friday feeling, its just about having a good time.

Its about freedom, happiness, feeling and if you know you know..." Chimano shared amid laughter.

The singer said he is going to do the album and EP all by himself, without working with guest artistes.

Chimano is known to be a bold man and has sparked controversies over his fashion style.

During the launch of Hustle,a central hub for creatives, Chimano said the concerns and public stares do not bother him and is bored with being normal

"It strengthens you and it emboldens you, it doesn't make me feel like i need to conform, conformity is boring. A lot more will come," Chimano said.
