Twendi Twendi hitmaker Justina Syokau has narrated how a hospital visit to take a COVID-19 test led her to the ICU in January 2021.

The gospel artist, who is recovering from a Staphylococcus aureus attack said that her illness was as a result of a wrong diagnosis.

"I had gone for a COVID-19 test then they said i had pneumonia. But they gave me a wrong medication. After four days, my eyes turned yellow, fingers also turned and the colour of my urine too.I went to a different hospital and they said it was a liver damage." she narrated.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Justina said that the disease left her with dents all over her body, and she could not get out of the house without fully covering her body.

"My body was itching, i had dry spots on my skin that looked like skin growths. Right now am not itching, the dark spots have faded away. My kidney and liver are now in good condition. They said that i had been given the wrong medication after the pneumonia diagnosis. I was rushed to the ICU because my condition had become bad."

The 2020 hitmaker said that the doctors who made the blunder have chipped into her huge medical bill, but she is still in need of help from Kenyans.

"The doctors who made the blunder have been helpful to me. They helped settled part of the bill, and am only remaining with 2 million. We decided to settle the matter out of court by taking partial responsibility," she said.

Justina says that her fundraiser is ongoing since she has only collected a quarter of the bill from Kenyans.
