'I loved him so much...' Papa Shirandula's dad eulogizes him

Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula has passed away after a sudden illness leaving the entertainment industry in shock.

As a way of honoring him Maisha Magic East Africa shared a video of Papa Shirandula and the life he lived.

Charles started acting at 30 and happened to get into theater by accident.

Before he started acting Bukeko used to work as a casual labourer before a relative offered to take him to Nairobi to look for greener pastures.

Charles who was born in Pumwani, but brought up in Limuru was the first born in a family of five.

According to his mother Valeria Wafula

'He walked very fast.

Charles never liked things like milk he wanted solid food despite the fact that he was around 3 months old.'

Describing his son, Cosmas Wafula, actor Shirandula's dad said,

'He never had any problems, I loved him a lot like you would love your first born.

He used to work as a casual labourer before coming to Nairobi.'

Charles was best known for his show Papa Shirandula, starring in an advertisement for Coke, and recently featuring in a song 'Naku Love' by King Kaka.
