Jahmby Koikai is still trying to survive all the pain and suffering that accompanies her illness.

From her social media pages, you can see she is getting better after numerous medical treatments and check-ups.

Jahmby is now in the States seeking medical attention and she has already made friends who have gone through the same or even worse situations healthwise.

One of her friends, Wambui, who she says she has grown to love has been there for Jahmby during her time in the States. The one thing Kenyans miss when they go abroad is a Kenyan meal. Wambui is just positive vibes for Jahmby as she brings Jahmby mandazi from Kenyan parties and she has been helping her learn how to knit.

She's been teaching me how to knit and i still don't get it lol...whenever we meet none of us focus on the journeys we've endured. We have a good time. She steals my jewellery and brings me mandazis from Kenyan bashes.

Wambui is a victim of cancer. Jahmby says she has fought it for a pretty long time but she always emerges stronger.

Hey fam....so this is my girl @wambui_run while you wake up and complain about the little things, hear this now. Wambui has fought CANCER for many years. She's been in REMISSION. She's RELAPSED 15 times but comes out STRONGER every time.

Despite all the suffering, Wambui rocks the bald swag boldly. Of course, because of the therapy, Wambui has lost her hair but she looks amazing. This is Jahmby's fear. She feels she will not look good being bald but Wambui is there to support her through it all.

Wambui has been running marathons while fighting cancer. She's as real as it gets. Humble, truthful, fun and pure love. She's really supported me and i draw loads of strength from her. I think she's the strongest person I've ever met. Now our only fight is me going bald lol....She's too beautiful but mi hii kichwa yangu bald haikubali. Wambui rocks bald nicely.

At least Jahmby found someone to draw strength from because all she is going through is not easy at all.
