A teenager has been arrested for defiling a 13-year-old girl in Keiyo North.

Nineteen year-old Sammy Kipkoech was on Tuesday handed over to Kamariny assistant chief Robert Kipkerich.

He was accused of eloping with the girl before defiling her in a cave at an escarpment.

He was arrested by residents who found them in the cave.

The minor had been missing for one week when they were found. Kipkerich said the suspect had another defilement case in court.
