Gospel singer Bahati is tomorrow morning expected at the Kiambu Law Courts over non payment of a debt to one Benson Thuranira.

Bahati is accused by Benson of not paying him back Ksh 200,000 from a past business transaction that went wrong.

The matter was reported at Karuri police station in Kiambu county.

Benson spoke to Mpasho;

"Bahati has been summoned to court over this matter and I will be there with my lawyers. If he is willing to pay me back my money plus all the expenses i have incur to date to get my money back that will be fine. If not then the matter will proceed further."

Benson added that the police are "satisfied" with the investigations they carried out about the manner in which Bahati obtained the money.

The two had come together to start an EMB films and production company which would total up to Ksh 10Million.

Ben first made a contribution of Ksh 200,000 to the singer as a deposit of the house they were supposed to work on.Since then, no progress has been seen and after asking for his money back, the singer has since refused to give it back.

On 28th October, Bahati was arrested but released after he made various phone calls 'Big people.'

We gave Bahati a right of reply where he denied of ever being arrested;
