Pesa Otas! EACC reveals Evan Kidero's enormous 7.7 billion shilling empire!

Evans Kidero was once the head honcho at Mumias Sugar. At that time it was a great source of pride for many a Kenyan for how well-run many thought the company was.

But after he left the company, the subsequent years have seen the company struggle immensely. There were allegations that he might have mismanaged it before he went on to become the Nairobi governor.

And the man has also done well for himself since his days at Mumias and has a gained a large asset base. And now it seems that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has decided to find out how the politician was able to acquire the vast wealth he has.

How much wealth does he have? It goes into the billions of shillings. And EACC has revealed the assets he owns. They are:

– Yala Towers in Nairobi (sh1.2 billion)

– Muthaiga Heights (sh1 billion)

– 50 rental units along Riara road (sh1 billion)

– Gem apartments along State House Crescent (sh1 billion)

– Gem apartments on Rose Avenue (sh700 million)

– Gem apartments in Gigiri (sh100 million)

– 4 houses in Nyari estate Nairobi (sh800 million)

– Ndege Road property Karen (sh600 million)

– Houses in Riverside phase 2 (sh500 million)

– His Muthaiga home ( sh300 million)

– A house in Rosslyn near Runda (sh100 million)

– A house in Riverside Drive (sh90 million)

– Maisonettes in Lake View estate Kisumu (sh200 million)

– 50 acres of land in Kisumu ( sh100 million)

All these properties added up is worth nearly 8 billion shillings!
