Interestingly she'd rather take it all than step from the spotlight.
The publicity and glam seem enviable to those watching from the outside, the podcast co-host and brand influencer however shares it can be overwhelming due to the constant public criticism and ever-growing cancel culture.
Sharing on her socials Murugi in part celebrated the perks that come with fame as she addressed how mindboggling it was that she gets criticized and trolled over the most mundane things. Murugi further noted half the time she doesn't even understand why netizens are attacking her.
In a video posted on her Instagram feed the mother of 3 hoped on the viral, 'You can send' TikTok trend which showcases people with an exhausted look and attitude mostly agreeing to things even though they're double-sided swords due to the bigger benefits they offer.
Her video read, "God: I'll send you fame and money but in exchange, they'll cancel and troll you on social media at least twice a year for literally just existing.

Captioning the post the content creator started off by penning, "Some of the things I have been trolled about I even wonder my looooord,"
Finishing up she intimated that the trolling rarely if ever, weighs her down as the limelight does have bigger perks which she gets to enjoy for the most part. "Anyway, it is a small price to pay for the life I get to live, and the impact God continues to allow me to have! Aluta continua," the last of her post read.
Reacting to the post several celebrities such as Kate 'Actress' Kamau, Sharon K Mwangi, Kris Baby, and Milly Chebby left comments noting they strongly shared the same sentiments as Murugi Munyi and struggled with the duality of fame.
