CNN International Correspondent and host of the African Voices Changemakers and Playmakers series, Larry Madowo has left netizens in stitches after he savagely dragged an Austrian citizen who has been borderline cyber-harassing him.
On his X account the 37-year-old journalist shared screen grabs of multi emails the persistent critic had sent him airing his frustrations with the constantly air promos Larry's show, 'African Voices Change Makers' has been receiving.
Accompanying the posts on his X account with a message the former, 'The Trend' co-host sarcastically wrote, “This guy is mad at me because I have a CNN show exclusively for African stories,"
Giving his followers a glimpse of the online drama he's been going through following constant emails from the disgruntled guy Larry added, "if you’re new to this Austrian viewer who hates my show, start here,"
Part of the critic's email complaining about the publicity the show receiving read, "How many times a day do you have to advertise for yourself for us to watch your nonsense??? We are in Europe; we are civilized people!! What do we have to do with your underdeveloped Africa? No offense please, I have been to Africa myself, it is a gorgeous continent.”
Seemingly fed up with the constant harassment the multi-award-winning journalist dragged the critic across X noting how ironic it was that someone watching an international channel was bothered by shows outside his country and continent getting airtime, yet the station was clearly not local.
"He’s watching a CNN with international in its name but doesn’t want to see any Africa coverage. I’m single-handedly destroying every show on CNN with my promo,” Larry mockingly added clearly amused by the critics insisted comments and thinking process.
In one of the screengrabs the agitated critic while complaining about Larry's show wrote, "the whole world is watching CNN. Can you explain to us, what are we to do with your constant ‘JOIN ME, …AFRICAN VOICES CHANGE MAKERS’???
What are we to do with your continuous interrupting the CNN program, with your AFRICAN VOICES CHANGE MAKERS?? REALLY ANNOYING!! Please understand! With love from Austria,”
Following how he chose to address the bullying, netizens were left in stitches as they joined in Larry's sarcasm dragging the said individual for hating on the promo Larry and his Change Makers TV show was getting.
