Comedian Njugush has revealed the name of his High School crush.
Catherine was the name of the lady who made Njugush's heart beat faster.
During a sit down with his wife Celestine Ndinda, the father of two shared what he liked about his crush.
'Have you ever loved someone who won't love you back? Catherine is someone I desired a lot. I though she and I would get married. I had even told my mum about it."
Celestine went to say
'Big up Catherine, say 'Hi' to her' she urged
Njugush went on to sing a Kikuyu love song to the lady in question
The song basically says,
'I have decided to write you a letter and the first thing is a lot of greetings.
The second thing is to tell you that I love you and to assure you that am still nurturing our love.
You make my heart contented." The lyrics say
Njugush wondered if his wife was jealous after she questioned why he had a dedication for his ex.
'That song says Catherine is a bad person.' He joked
He went on to added
"She used to wear spectacles, I even desired to wear spectacles myself.
and had allergies. Trauma had affected us that way.
She would go home early because her eyes were hurting. She would be given a push by 5 people. I was like 'aaw I want to be like her when I grow up."
His crush for her made him request for spectacles
'She was goals, she was also bright.
One day I said I must wear spectacles in future, I refused to go to school, I said I had an allergy and that I couldn't see properly."
He was taken for tests only for him to end up being given drops instead of spectacles.
Currently he wears spectacles, but not for fun.
He even dedicated a song to her.
