Multi-award-winning comedian and scriptwriter turned author Timothy Kimani aka Njugush has left his millions of followers in stitches after he shared an old picture of his wife, Celestine Ndinda while celebrating her birthday.

As if on cue, their best friend and colleague Abel Mutua joined in on the fun bringing out another oldie of young Celestine as he chided Njugush in the hearty caption towards his wife.

On his part, Njugush brought out his comedic side as he used broken grammar and light banter to celebrate his better half who popularly goes by Cele or Wakavinye. His post left netizens on Instagram in stitches as they marvelled at the photo Njugush had chosen for the once-in-a-year occasion.

"Iyaaa apy Mbathdei wagwakwa... @celestinendinda hapa nyota ya kalumanzila ilikua inaanza kuwaka," the father of 2 cheekily wrote as he captioned the eons ago photo of Cele before the fame and glam.

His text lightly translates to, "Wow happy birthday my person. Here your star for being Kalumanzila had started shining brightly,"

Reacting to the post, Wakavinye lamented over the photo choice questioning why her hubby couldn't have picked literally any other better looking one. "Hii picha hata imeisha rangi. Aki, huna ingine (This photo has even lost its colour and resolution.

Honestly, you don't have any other???)" The digital content creator wrote adding crying emojis to her text. 

On his part, veteran actor and storyteller Abel Mutua posted a photo collage of Cele showing off her young and fun side on his Instagram feed. In the photo the content creator who was dressed in a thin strap black jumpsuit adorned with a chunky silver chain could be seen showing off mid 2000's poses as she held up double peace signs.

Taking a jab at his friend Abel highlighted those were Wakivinye's best years before Njugush came along.

"Happy Birthday @celestinendinda! Remember those days before that someone came into your life? Those were good days Manze. Jibambe Ngongoss! May you achieve everything that you desire and more!" The YouTuber's post read. 

In between several laughing emojis the mother of 2 played along acknowledging they were indeed, "Good old days," while thanking Abel for the birthday wishes.
