Award-winning Kenyan marathoner Eliud Kipchoge has revealed that his memorable moment was when he broke the record for running a marathon in under two hours in Vienna.
He was the first athlete to ever achieve this great milestone.
He gained international fame for his several achievements as an incredible long-distance marathon runner from Kenya.
In the city of Vienna Austria, Eliud became the first human being to produce the fastest time ever in the sub-two-hour marathon run. He ran the 42.195KM distance in a remarkable time of 1:59:40:2.
In a Q & A with Mpasho's Kalondu, he considers that a remarkable achievement in his years working.
"My most proudest moment as a marathon runner was when I broke the two-hour barrier in Vienna," he revealed
Speaking to Kalondu Kipchoge agreed he's a Christian and Esther is his favorite bible verse.
His hero?
Lewis Hamilton the British racing driver widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. He has won multiple world championships and drives for Mercedes.
Kipchoge replied he texts his wife the most
"Those who believe in themselves are the ones who can go far," This is his favorite quote which seems to have been inspiring him through his triumphs and great achievements throughout.
He revealed his favorite Kenyan song is the trending Anguka Nayo by Wadagliz.
Kipchoge after breaking the record in Vienna, Isuzu East African Managing Director appreciated him by making him one of the few people to drive ISUZU D-MAX Limited edition which goes for a retaining price of ksh9 million.
"I love Isuzu's car as it is very comfortable," he said
He also loves eating chapati and tea
