About ten days ago, Youtuber Miss Trudy spoke about being worried about her relationship with her Ghanaian husband.
Netizens have used her unhappiness to back their claims that they have marital strife.
Trudy has released a 24-minute video to address the matter.
"Things are getting out of control. it's about time I address this so that the truth can finally come out.When you're worked up or stressed out you find yourself doing things you don't usually do."
She is frustrated over rumors
"I've been traveling and started getting phone calls, I've been getting DM's guys are warning me.
The truth is that everything happening on the internet has caught me by surprise because I did not see it coming"
She was interviewed by a Ghanaian content creator talking about her life. Some of the questions revolved around not spending enough time together as a married couple.
Her answers led to rumors that she was depressed
"It is life guys we all get depressed. " Trudy said about living in Ghana where she is trying to adjust
"I'm not perfect, I have some ups and downs, and things haven't been easy for me. It's ok because that is what I signed up for right? I don't have friends in Ghana the food, the weather, the culture is different, so it comes with a challenge" She added
She defended her marriage saying it is easy when people are in love.
"What makes it worth it is if you guys love each other. That's how I see it from my end. I have gone for a couple of interviews and tried to be honest. I don't want my honesty to be the reason that my honesty someone is seen as wicked."
She acknowledged making mistakes in her marriage and is not happy.
"When I say I'm not happy there's so many things happening in life and it doesn't have to be that Maya is the cause of my unhappiness. "
