Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Bensoul is a proud father who is completely enamored with his almost two-year-old daughter, showering her with affection and never having any regrets.
Sharing the joys of fatherhood, the former Sol Generation signee reflected on how easily his daughter gets what she wants from him, as he struggles to say no, especially when she calls him "dad" in her sweet baby voice.
On what he finds most rewarding about being a parent, the 'Extra Pressure' hitmaker emphasized that the journey and the milestones—big and small—are everything to him.
"Seeing them grow, you know..." Bensoul said warmly, adding that hearing his daughter call out to him utterly melts his heart, which is why she is so spoiled.
“The most rewarding thing is when they call you ‘dada’ or ‘dad,’ aahhh,” Bensoul expressed, his joy evident at the mere memory of hearing his daughter say those words.
“When they say that word, I'm just like, ‘Shika, unataka nini? What do you want, my daughter? What do you want? You know what, take everything,’” he added, his smile broad and his affection palpable.
Last year, Bensoul released his first album of the year, titled Lion of Sudah, which included a special surprise.
One of the tracks, "Melody," is dedicated to his firstborn child, Trinity. In the song, he revealed his baby’s name and sang sweet promises to her.
Lyrics from the song include: “You're the soundtrack to my life, my angel and my light, the reason I'm alive, the reason for my smile... I promise you'll never ever lack, tuko in our bag. I promise I'll be there for you... Trinity to infinity, yeah yeah, you're my mini me.”
Bensoul and his baby mama, Tiffany Wanjiru Muikamba, welcomed their daughter, Trinity, in September 2022.
Although they are no longer together, Bensoul is currently dating TikToker Cindy K, while Tiffany has kept her love life private. Despite their separation, Bensoul and Tiffany are co-parenting seamlessly.
