JCC founder Kathy Kiuna has narrated how she met her husband pastor Allan Kiuna.

She says she had seen him earlier and joked about how handsome he was not knowing he had noticed her too.

Speaking during an interview on Kameme FM, she said,

"I was going for a lunch hour evangelism meeting when I saw Allan making a call. I had seen him before while with my sister and she thought he was handsome.

As I was walking by, he told me to give him a minute as he wanted to talk to me. When he finished he told me 'Hi Kathy'.

I was shocked because I did not think he knew my name. He asked me for a lunch date but I told him I couldn't."

Kathy said while she was playing hard to get she hoped Allan won't give up the chase.

"In my heart, I was pleading with God not to let him be taken away. The second time he asked as a wise person I knew I couldn't say no twice, so I said yes.

On our first date, I told him that I had a 3-year-old daughter. He was very excited and even wanted to meet her. Since then we have been the best of friends."

Kathy and Allan have been married for more than 25 years.
