A funeral program for the burial of the late media personality Njambi 'Jahmby' Koikai has been released. Fyah Mummah died on June 3 at the age of 38 years.

In the program, family and friends will gather at Nairobi Chapel, Ngong Road, Thursday June 13 for a memorial service, with Larry Asego and Jackie Nyaminde as the Masters of Ceremony.

This will be followed by the funeral on Friday, June 14. Larry Asego and Mbusii will be the MCs for the day at Langata Cemetery at 8 am.

It is expected to be a short program to conclude at 1 pm. Njambi was hospitalized on May 30 after falling ill. She had appealed for blood donation.

Njambi's mother Stella Wambui Kanogo and her sister Barbara hailed her as having the heart of a lion.

"Njambi was more than just a daughter and sister, she was our protector. As a sister, I remember her vigilance whenever I went out, asking or phone numbers of everyone I met ready to call if I wasn't back. She was my biggest cheerleader and her pride in all my wins was boundless," shared her sibling.

Her dad spoke about how impressed she was about her educational pursuits, "Your sudden and unexpected death cut short your bright and promising career at a time you had already entered the political arena, having vied to be a Member of Parliament for Dagoretti South in the 2022 elections where you came an impressive fourth."
